2-Hour Delay, But Seekonk Schools Open Tuesday

This will be the first day of school since Thursday.

Seekonk students may not want to read this, but the public schools will be open Tuesday, interim Superintendent Arlene Bosco. She said there would be a two-hour delay before schools open.

Local students had the day off Friday and Monday due to the snowstorm.

No word yet on whether Swansea schools will be open. They were also closed Friday and Monday.

As much as I want my children back in school and out of the house, I am less than thrilled with the lack of shoveled side walks for bus-stops and inadequately plowed side streets that these kids have to walk on. Thankfully the construction company and the end of my street made a pass with their bulldoser, so at least one car at a time can get through. I'm not sure what happens when you have kids walking to the bus stop as well.
