New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was seen this week with several noticeably red blotches on his nose and right cheek during the NFL’s annual owners’ meeting in Phoenix, Ariz.

The blotches, according to Patriots Football Weekly writer Erik Scalavino, “are the result of treatments for precancerous lesions that are commonly the result of too much sun-exposure.

Kraft stressed the importance of taking preventive measures against skin cancer. “All of you should get your faces checked for skin stuff,” Kraft said via Scalavino.
