Dr. Kevin M. Hurley Middle School Stars of the Month - December 2013

Dr. Kevin M. Hurley Middle School in Seekonk honored their Stars of the Month for December 2013 this morning. Students take part in a ceremony, enjoy a very nice breakfast, and have their pictures taken to be displayed in the school.

Students are chosen by their team of teachers for many reasons, including academic achievement, effort, improvement, character, and more.

Grade 6 students from the RED team include Henry Jordan and Erin Keough. The YELLOW team students honored were Meredith Paris and Robert Strycharz.

Grade 7 students chosen by the Blue Team were Brian Jolin and Breanna Dailey. The Green team chose Cedrick Gustave and Kaitlyn Gorton.

Grade 8 teachers on the Orange Team selected Bella Munns and Justin Coelho. The White Team chose Angel Toussignant and Ben Brady.

Students selected by the Encore team included Marcus Hoskins, Brooke Parks, and Megan Terra.

Marcus Hoskins won a ten dollar gift card during the breakfast raffle. None of the students were able to hit a 1/2 court shot in the gym following their meal. Anyone that did would have won a $25 gift card! Last month, sixth grader Gabe Bastien successfully made the 1/2 court shot.
