Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest:Obituary from
Virginia H. (Palby) Koroblis, "Ginny," 83, of Plymouth, formerly of Swansea, passed away Oct. 13, 2013 in Jordan Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Howard Olsen and the late Richard Koroblis.
Born in Dorchester, daughter of the late Benjamin and Marcella (Lakus) Palby, she lived in Swansea for many years before moving to Plymouth 25 years ago.
A graduate of Dorchester High School, she worked at K-Mart in both Swansea and Raynham for many years before retiring in 1992. Mrs. Koroblis enjoyed gardening, painting, and she always put others before herself.
She is survived by her son David Olsen and his wife Patricia of Dighton; her three step-daughters Martha Cavicchi, Mary Malone and Lisa Moulton; her step-son Stephen Koroblis; her grandson Gregory Olsen; her nephew Walter Stonkus; and her six step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Daniel Olsen and her sibling Frances Stonkus.
Her Funeral will be held Thursday, Oct. 17, at 11 a.m. in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest, 189 Gardner's Neck Road, Swansea. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours prior to her service from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery, Swansea.
