Seekonk Police Log June 25-26: Resisting Arrest and Air Conditioner Theft

The following information about recent local arrests and charges was supplied by the Seekonk Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

June 25

12:30 p.m. Caller reported the theft of a toolbox from workplace on Taunton Avenue.

6:31 p.m. Michael Poland, 19, of 1656 Scituate Ave. in Cranston Rhode Island was arrested for transporting carrying alcoholic beverages while underage, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and resisting arrest. He was pulled over when he allegedly ran a red light and drove along the sidewalk near Leonard Street.

June 26

8:21 a.m. Caller reported the theft of two air conditioners on Ipswitch Street.
