Deadline Nears for Applications for Seekonk Habitat for Humanity

This is the first Habitat for Humanity build in Seekonk.

The Old Colony Habitat for Humanity has announced the construction of a new affordable home in Seekonk.

The house, currently valued at $130,000, will be built at 4 Gude St. Applications for the house are available. Applicant households must have a maximum income less than 60 percent of the median income for the household size. The deadline to apply is May 3. Go here for more information.

Old Colony Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1989 as Attleboro Area Habitat for Humanity and is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization.

The organization serves Attleboro, Bellingham, Foxborough, Mansfield, Norfolk, North Attleboro, Norton,  Mansfield, Plainville, Wrentham and Rehoboth.
