Senior Center Vote in Seekonk Today

How will you vote today to appropriate more money towards building a new senior center?

Seekonk residents will be turning out to Seekonk High School throughout the day Monday to vote on whether or not to allow a temporary tax hike to help pay for a new Seekonk Senior Center.

Passage would dedicate $386,600 for additional costs required for a new center. At this year's Town Meeting, $2.5 million was dedicated by voters towards the center.

"Two rooms in the old Pleasant St. school just doesn't cut it," wrote Seekonk resident Cindy Barlow in an email to Patch.

Barlow also submitted a photo of her front lawn decked out to support the center at Monday's special election.

How will you vote at today's Special Election?
