Author Sarah Dodge at the Swansea Public Library

The Swansea Public Library welcomes local author Sarah Dodge on Saturday December 7th from10:30-12:00PM.  She will be reading and signing her new book, A Better Tomorrow Than Today.  Along with the book signing we will have Christmas cookie decorating and a Christmas craft for children.

A Better Tomorrow Than Today is a children's book but also speaks to adults. We all have dismal days and we all hope for A Better Tomorrow Than Today.  It brings the struggles and hardship that many families face today to the forefront of conversation in an easy and approachable way. The family in the story has fallen upon hard times, but their love for each other has never faltered but strengthened their bond with one another. As the family tries to escape to better days they end up learning that they have something pretty special already. Home is where the heart is.  Find out about the adventure this loving family has and what they discover as a result.

While living at UMass Lowell, she met her husband, Mike and they moved up to the South

Shore in November of 2005, knowing that the small town of Whitman would be where

they settled down to start their family.  Over the past 8 years, Sarah and Mike have renovated their fixer-upper, rescued 2 big drooly dogs (and recently one smaller, less drooly dog), and had 2 wonderful children, Olivia and James. It's been an amazing adventure so far!

Sarah,  formerly a full time MRI technologist , is now a children's author and stay at home mom.
