Fizz, Boom, Read at the Swansea Public Library

It has been a busy summer here at the library.  We have been doing story hour at the Swansea Mall every Tuesday at 11:00AM with a science theme.  So far we have done stories and crafts for animals (zoology), planets (astronomy), sea creatures (oceanography) and this week dinosaurs (paleontology).  Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary has been visiting the library every Thursday morning at 10:30am and bringing a fine selection of programs.  So far we have learned all about the power of the sun (and even made a solar oven that makes s'mores) and the weaving skills of birds (expert nest makers).  Drop in the library for one of our programs or just to cool off and play a board game, watch a movie, put together a puzzle or make a craft.  And while your at it, pick up some fun summer reading.  It's all happening at the Swansea Public Library, located in historic Swansea Village, right down on Main St.
